Terence O'Malley
Founding Attorney
Terence founded the O'Malley Law Firm in 2015. At that time, he was already an established speaker on the financial principles of living at continuing care retirement communities. In 2016, he published a book on the matter, which is available for purchase alongside his other published works on the Kansas City Mafia and Nelly Don.
Since 1994, Terence has worked in numerous capacities as a lawyer in the realms of finance, insurance, torts, criminal law, and more. He has also served as a federal judicial clerk, as well as an adjunct professor. Prior to law school, Terence served in press secretary roles for the Alaska House of Representatives and for the Governor of Alaska. He was also a television news director and anchor.
Terence is an author, film maker, performing musician, and traveling speaker. In 2013, he was included in KC Magazine's list of the Top 100 Most Influential People in Kansas City.

Conor O'Malley
Attorney
Conor O'Malley is an attorney with ten years of experience in estate planning, with a particular focus on revocable living trusts and trust administration. His practice also includes LLC and corporate formation, ownership transfers and dissolutions, financial and healthcare powers of attorney, prenuptial agreements, and real estate contracts.
Conor believes legal advice should be practical and understandable, not buried in legalese. He works to ensure that his clients understand how their estate plans operate and leave his office confident that their affairs are in good order.
When not practicing law, Conor can usually be found exploring the park with his two little troublemakers.

Wyatt Hough
Attorney
Wyatt earned his law degree at UMKC School of Law and his MBA at the Bloch School of Management. During law school, Wyatt was heavily involved in the UMKC Law Review, both authoring a published comment and later serving as an editor.
Wyatt maintains the philosophy that lawyers should always be transparent with their clients, and should not pressure anyone into a plan of needless complexity. He believes that every client should leave with a solid grasp of what the future holds.
Wyatt plays the guitar, and is actively pursuing his private pilot's license.

Ednita Rivera
Office Manager
As our office manager and primary legal assistant, Nita keeps the firm running smoothly. When Nita joined us in 2024, she came in with a decade of customer service experience under her belt, as well as extensive prior experience in similar roles.
Before joining the O'Malley Law Firm, Nita worked as a project assistant at Abbey-Simons Co., a contruction specialty subcontractor. After that, she was a project engineer at Aquila Industries, a commercial general contractor.
Nita is currently on the path to receiving her paralegal certificate.
